In this video, trader Nicholas Merten of the DataDash YouTube channel analyzes charts and breaks down the current cryptocurrency market conditions. Merten discusses an optimistic surge in both Bitcoin and Altcoins (cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin).

Merten expects a several-month long march higher with peaks and valleys with altcoins snatching back some dominance from Bitcoin. In the short-term, he says if Bitcoin breaks through $40K-$42K range, it could test $50K per bitcoin. And he mentions a few altcoins to keep an eye on.
